CombatTrackr

An exercise in local storage, applied to tabletop RPGs.

CombatTrackr was developed as a tablet-optimized web application to track turn order and vital statistics during tabletop RPG sessions, such as Dungeons & Dragons. It features: alignment styling (hero, neutral, enemy), character sorting (name, initiative, health), and live tabulation of health remaining. CombatTrackr stores all current table values in a browser's local storage and retrieves them on load. For convience, players designated as "heroes" are carried over into new sessions with the "New Combat" button.
A combat in progress.
CombatTrackr was written using parts of the Inuit CSS framework written by Harry Roberts, modified to compile using LESS v1.3.0 syntax, authored by Alexis Sellier. CombatTrackr also utilized iScroll v4.2.5 by Matteo Spinelli, jStorage v0.3.0 by Andris Reinman, and jQuery 1.8.2.
