Redesigning Fashion Design

The following website designs were created in collaboration with Philadelphia University's Fashion Design program as part of a University-wide re-branding campaign. Two drafts were ordered, "conservative" and "contemporary" designs, with the new brand and new technology in consideration.

The following website designs were created in collaboration with Philadelphia University's Fashion Design program as part of a University-wide re-branding campaign. Two drafts were ordered, "conservative" and "contemporary" designs, with the new brand and new technology in consideration. Extensive systems analysis, site mapping, wireframing, and rapid prototyping played a pivotal role in the design process.
The conservative design featured simplified navigation, dynamic news delivery, and a "featured design" section acting as a student spotlight. The Student Work section was designed to be a dynamic, infinitely scrolling, Pinterest-like gallery of student designs with modal windows offering more information about selected projects.

The contemporary design features a one-page-fits-all navigation scheme, focusing on large images and limited text. It was designed to be dynamically driven by the University's content management system, their Wordpress blog, and social media (Flickr, for example).
